Island Peak also known as Imja Tse, is a mountain located in the Everest region of Nepal. It stands at an elevation of 6189 metres (20,305 feet ) and is a very popular climbing destination for trekkers and mountaineers. Island peak is considered a challenging climb, requiring a good level of physical fitness and mountaineering skills. The trek to Island Peak Base Camp is en-route to Everest Base Camp, passing through remote villages, Buddhist monasteries and stunning views of the Himalayan range.
ISLAND PEAK(IMJA TSE (6189M).
Day-1) Arrive in Kathmandu(1350m).
Day-2) Fly to Lukla(2840m) and Trek to Phakding(2610m).
Day-3) Namche (3440m).
Day-4) Namche (rest/acclimatization day).
Day-5) Phortse (3810m).
Day-6) Pheriche (4240m).
Day-7) Pheriche (Rest/Acclimatization day).
Day-8) Lobuche (4910m).
Day-9) Everest Base Camp-5364m Day and overnight at Gorakship -5140m.
Day-10) Dingboche-4410m (Early morning Kala Patthar view point (56oom).
Day-11) Chhukum (4730m).
Day-12) Island Peak Base Camp and training (4970m).
Day-13) Summit-6189m and back to Chhukum-4730m.
Day-14) Extra day (If weather bad we can try this day otherwise we use this day in Kathmandu for free exploring day).
Day-15) Tengboche (3860m).
Day-16) Phakding (2610m).
Day-17) Lukla (2840m).
Day-18) Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day-19)Transfer to int'l airport.
